About Home Pet Euthanasia

Compassionate, peaceful and pain-free euthanasia

Each stage of the process is unhurried, taking as long as needed to ensure you and your pet are as comfortable and as relaxed as possible.

When you first make contact Debbie will discuss your wishes, giving support and guidance through the process. Bookings can be planned in advance or if there is more urgency same day bookings can usually be accommodated.

At the visit Debbie will give time to meet you and your pet and explain what to expect. When everyone is comfortable she will administer a sedative by injection under the skin, similar to a vaccination injection.

Over the following 5-20 minutes, depending on your pet’s health status, they will gently relax and fall asleep. In that time you can cuddle your pet and say goodbye. Debbie can give you privacy for this special time together.

Once your pet is fully relaxed and asleep Debbie will give the final injection and your pet will pass away gently within a few minutes.

You and your family, including children and other pets, may stay with your pet throughout the whole procedure, as you wish.

When you feel ready Debbie will leave, giving you privacy.

We can also arrange cremation for you, including transfer your pet to the crematorium and the return of their ashes home.
